The Away Days Walk is Complete!

As I’m sure you’ve all seen last weekend at midnight on Saturday we set off from Leyland fire station and, 30 miles later, crossed the finish line together at Deepdale.

It was tough, emotional, and unforgettable. But every single step was worth it.

After 2 months of non-stop organising, it’s been an absolute pleasure to see this event come together. What started as just an idea turned into a night of community spirit, teamwork, and remembrance – and I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved.

This walk was all about raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice, while also supporting SRDC Football Club. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved and the backing of some incredible local businesses, I’m proud to say we’ve now raised over £5,000!
